JOB OBJECTIVE:

General:

Provide guidelines for the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation system of the SABES Program in accordance with the logical framework, indicators, performance monitoring plan and annual goals approved by the donor for the components of Education, Health and Nutrition, Infrastructure, Local Purchases and Food Logistics, ensuring their accurate registration in the PRIME platforms and their link with the Agresso SX records , the management and use of the virtual platform (Kobo Collect or CommCare) for the registration and analysis of information and the preparation and delivery of executive reports to the SABES Directorate, Operations Directorate and management team.

Specific:

Ensure the correct, complete, and timely entry of SABES Logical Framework and DIP information into the PRIME Platform and its correct linkage with Agresso SX records.

Coordinate with the SC US Research Directorate and the SABES Program Directorate the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research: baseline, mid-term evaluation and final evaluation.

Standardize 100% of SABES program staff, including the staff of the two implementing partners (FUDI and PRODESSA) who dedicate 100% of their time to project implementation (managers, field coordinators, and field technicians), in the following areas: guidelines, strategies, methodologies, protocols, and instruments for data collection and analysis, ensuring the programmatic quality of the interventions.

Ensure that 100% of technicians, supervisors, and coordinators, including those of implementing partners, enter information into the virtual platform (Kobo Collect or CommCare) according to the indicators to ensure valid, reliable, timely, agile, and high-quality information. To this end, a data quality control strategy must be established in accordance with the guidelines of the monitoring and evaluation system.

Ensure compliance with monthly goals through control, monitoring, and evaluation of the matrix/odometer for each indicator, and maintain ongoing communication with the managers and advisors of the SABES components and the two implementing partners to take appropriate and timely action.

Coordinate the development of quarterly and biannual information, including information from implementing partners, based on field visits, review and analysis of M&E information.

Supervise, monitor and coordinate the work and lack of M&E personnel located in the field offices, providing support

Prepare executive information for the SABES Management and Operations Department.

In the event of an emergency situation, we hope to be flexible in the position of the post holder for the job description and will be able to adapt to the requirements and schedules required according to the necessity.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Keep the PRIME platform up to date and update with the Agresso SX registers, with the information of the logical brand and the detailed implementation plan of SABES, and provide personal guidance of the project for the correct use and opportunity of the information.
Review and updating of lines to update the M&E system of the program to ensure the programmatic quality of the interventions.
Ensure the compilation of the processes that establishes the program in addition to five components (Education, Health and Nutrition, Infrastructure, Local Purchasing and Logistics of Food.)
Implement the Capacity Plan for the technical staff with full program implementation, including the implementing partners, mainly oriented to the appropriate use of the tools and recording technology instruments, consolidation and analysis of the information and use of the virtual platform of the M&E unit.
Provide guidelines for the interpretation and analysis of the information for the decision making opportunity and effectiveness.
Forget the process for the documentation and systematization of exiting experiences and lessons learned.
Prepare monthly reports for the MINEDUC and half-yearly reports for the donors and review the quarterly reports of the implementing partners.
Assess the technical equipment on your position, on the processes of obtaining information at community level, for the evaluation of the program in accordance with the impact indicators and stable results.
Coordinate and program the sequence and execute the notebooking process in the 15 schools selected from Areas I and II so that the pilot drawing will be carried out.
Permanent support to the M&E Unit team for suitable use of the M&E virtual platform.
Integrate, plan, and implement activities based on the principles of secure programming, ensuring compliance with the safeguarding framework, which encompasses the Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, and Global Anti-Harassment Policy. Maintain appropriate risk assessment and mitigation within your role and work environment, and work collaboratively with other team members.
Report through the various channels of reporting concerns and safety incidents within 24 hours, assuming confidentiality and responsibility with the information.
REQUIREMENTS:

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and other related disciplines, related careers with research and education
More than 5 years of experience in the country.
With solid statistical conclusions applied and inferential.
Knowledge of descriptive statistics.
You can reside in Nebaj, and travel to project intervention areas such as at least 50% of your monthly payment, which must be reflected in your planning.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY:

Experience of three or more years in coordination areas, in the area of ​​monitoring and evaluation of food safety and rural development programs.
Over the years or more of experience in similar positions, we have completed the process of investigative designs, we have carried out the collection and analysis of data, quantitative and qualitative character evaluations, especially oriented to determine the states in the areas of agriculture, health and nutrition, economic opportunities and food security.

Essential: Epi-Info, SPSS, ACCESS, dynamic tables in EXCEL
Available: CS-PRO, Stat Calc, Epinut, other options
You can work in Windows environment, including the operation of specific programs like Word, Excel, Power Point, Email, etc.
